MPBCC 3rd XI played their third game of the season against Parkfield & Headstone Cricket Club 3rd XI at their home ground.

After a mixed bag start of the season, with a win and a loss in their previous two games. Captain Dave Halsey won the toss and put the opposition to bat. Stuart Ross playing in for the first time displayed an outstanding session of fast bowling and brought Parkfield & Headstone CC batsmen to their knees, he ended with 4 for 19 and the opposition setup a modest target of 84 for MPBCC 3rd XI to win.

MPBCC 3rd XI began the chase, but they soon found themselves back in the familiar territory, except Mark Britt and Stuart Ross none of the top order batsmen managed to reach double figures, thought it was a scramble towards the end but Halsey & John Harman ensured that no other wickets were lost and MPBCC 3rd XI reached the target with three wickets to spare.
